CT and NY

If you follow me on social media you know my grandfather in law passed away last week. Of course I went to the services, but I also got to do some things I've never done before. Such as drive through New England, visiting where my husband grew up, see snow for the first time in my conscientious  adult life, and meet the relatives I haven't gotten to meet yet.

Pop Pop, as he was proud to be called, was a wonderful man, a WWII vet, and extremely sweet. The only time I got to meet him was here when my husband graduated from USMC boot camp. I always knew how much they meant to each other, so when this happened it was pretty upsetting.

The rest of this post wont be very interesting if you're not a born and raised Floridian.

All my siblings-in-law!

We took a trip to Stew Leonard's, which is like the oldest and cutest grocery store on the planet. My Father-In-Law worked there, it's right behind the house, and it used to have the cow for the milk right on sight!

We got to go to my Uncle-In-Law's (pictured above) house and I got to write my name and height among my sibling-in-law's on the air conditioning vent! I'm never going to grow, but it was still an honor.

He also taught me to drive on the ice and snow since we now live in a place where it snows and because I drove there and back.

I also went to go visit my sister who lives in Brooklyn, NY for the first time. She dances at Joffery Ballet School and loves it.
