1. Shadow Box Ticket Collector
The first time I went into my husband's bedroom at his parent's house I noticed he kept almost every ticket to every movie, football game, band concert, and any other ticketed event throughout most of his life. I also kept all of these, they were just a lot less organized at the time. They sell shadow boxes with a piggy bank style top for adding additional items to remember.
Fun Fact: That ticket to the Gulf Breeze Zoo was from the day he proposed!
2. Crate Toilet Paper Holder
If you don't keep your toilet paper somewhere on the outside then if your guests run out they have to go rummaging around through you personal things to find a new roll. Not only does this leave your private things private, its cute and can be customized to fit almost anyone's needs.
3. Cutting Board Wall Art
We got this cutting board as a wedding present and I can't stand the thought of cutting on it a ruining it over time.
4. Toilet Paper Roll Flowers
I made this a few years ago while I lived at home. I stalked up on toilet paper rolls for months to make this. It looks awesome and was really easy to do.
5. Scrapbook Paper Outlet and Light Switch Covers
My mother was an avid scrapbooker back in the day and still has a myriad of scrapbooking tools, paper, pictures to go in future pages, and past pages and books on display. The outside of our house on base is yellow so I thought yellow would be a good color for them. Its a nice subtle touch to add to your home without buying brand new sets at the store, a lot cheaper too!
6. Wine Cork Bulletin Board
I don't drink that much wine normally. But for this project I made an exception. It took longer to collect them all than to make the actual cork board. They sell cute empty frames at Michael's Craft Store.
Fun Fact: I work there!
