My fireplace has become my favorite place to decorate for every occasion! The neutral tones make it so versatile and the space makes most of my ideas possible. My metal panels, picture frame window, and my grandmother candle stick holders have made an encore appearance and may remain as constant fixtures on my mantle! Well at least for a while anyways.
I forgot about my stockings until I unpacked them and was worried they wouldn't go with everything else, which sure enough, they don't. But, at least our stockings (that my other grandmother made) have reindeer on them! I photographed them in the evening, which I normally don't do because my house normally has so much natural light flowing through during the day. It gave it a more dramatic effect and I'm kinda diggin' it!
I made the "Let It Snow" banner with letters stenciled on to scrapbook paper, burlap, and and a cardboard banner kit. A good majority of the decor items are from Target like the truck, the Buffalo check "R", the trees.
