After coming from an extremely small kitchen at our place on base housing, this giant kitchen makes us really happy! Also it makes me feel like I have a whole lot less stuff, with plenty of room to store it.
Throughout the entire house there is tons of open storage with white metal wire closet-like shelving. The only way I feel like you can functionally and neatly store things in it is with matching storage containers, which I haven't gotten yet. Most of our things are stored in the closets in the guest bedrooms and I would love to get some of the stuff out of there. But enough about that, enjoy every aspect of our lovely unique kitchen!
The spice rack is all open. I still haven't decided if I like it yet.
