I've never lived in a house with a fire place! We haven't used it yet and probably will start pretty soon now that it's getting a little cooler, but until then it's still pretty to look at.
Although it distorts everything you take a picture of, I really like this light above the fireplace! In person without the glare, it make whatever you have up there look that much more elegant.
This table on the left side is now my husband's work bench outside on our back porch.
